Franklin software development firm Pilgrim Consulting is looking to to do its part to fill the local IT talent shortage by teaming up with a Memphis company on a nine-week training class.
Pilgrim’s collaboration is with Cook Systems, a company with nearly three decades of tech talent recruitment and training and a client roster that includes FedEx, St. Jude’s and locally Video Gaming Technologies.
Pilgrim’s Berry Farms offices will host at no cost Cook’s nine-week FastTrack’D class that trains software developers. Candidates will be vetted prior to admission and then contracted through Cook Systems for placement.
“Our goal is to provide Nashville with a new solution to the challenge of finding developer talent by actually helping create it,” said Mark McGarrity, CEO of Pilgrim Consulting.
The first classes will begin this Friday.
Pilgrim is at 4037 Rural Plains Cir, Franklin, TN 37064.
