Panera is testing the next generation of bakery cafes at its store across Old Hickory Boulevard from Brentwood, which will reopen on Oct. 26 after being closed for renovations.
(Earlier information from the company gave an incorrect date for the completion of the work.)
Panera intends to remodel 14 cafes in Nashville and the surrounding area by 2019.
The new Panera cafe design:
- Features a modern and fresh dining experience with an elevated bakery presentation, updated materials and finishes, better lighting and new furniture.
- Provides a more intuitive flow for the customer that seamlessly integrates the queue, hot and cold beverage service, pickup/to-go zones into the dining room experience
- Incorporates an updated in-store Kiosk design and layout that reduces wait time and speeds up service for dine-in and take-out/to-go customers alike
In addition to the Panera Bread near Brentwood, there are two locations in Franklin and one at The Crossings in Spring Hill.
