Loveless Cafe puts a food truck on the road

Officials with The Loveless Café announced Tuesday they will offer a food truck beginning Thursday, June 27, at the Centennial Park Event Pavilion.

“Our restaurant welcomes over half a million guests each year, and we’re excited to bring our historic brand of scratch-made meals on the road as an extension of our off-site catering services,” Lindsey Chance, general manager for Loveless Events, said in a release.

The release did not include the cost to get the food truck operational. With the truck, Loveless will be able to accommodate off-site corporate events, charity fundraisers, at-home birthday parties and outdoor concerts, as examples.

Other events slated for the truck include July 27’s Music City Brewer’s Fest at Walk of Fame Park, July 30’s Nashville Sounds baseball game at First Tennessee Park and Oct. 5’s Bacon, Eggs and Kegs at First Tennessee Park.

Loveless, known for its biscuits and located at 8400 Highway 100 west of Bellevue, began operations in 1951 and focuses on Southern-inspired meals.
