While the location is old, the new restaurant adds to the draw of the Hill Center redevelopment project, which still is in progress.

The August, 2016 closure of Ruby Tuesday was part of a restructuring of the restaurant chain. The Hill Center location was one of 95 around the company that were closed.
Hill Center Brentwood has been a Williamson County shopping destination for more than 30 years. The shopping center began a major expansion project, acquiring the longtime headquarters of Murray Ohio at the corner of Maryland Way and Franklin Road, adding 17 acres to the shopping center. The property is anchored by accounting firm LBMC. The first restaurants and retail stores in the $211 million mixed-use development opened in fall 2016, with additional openings in 2017.
Jason’s Deli is part of the original strip center that includes REI, The Fresh Market, local mainstay The Puffy Muffin, Katy’s Hallmark, and more.
Founded in 1976, Jason’s Deli is Its current footprint includes more than 260 restaurants in 29 states, with Middle Tennessee locations in Franklin, Nashville and Murfreesboro. In addition to winning numerous industry and consumer choice awards, it was the first national restaurant company to eliminate partially hydrogenated oils in 2005, several years before the FDA mandate. Since that time, processed MSG, high-fructose corn syrup and artificial colors/flavors/dyes were also eliminated from its menu.
