A Medicare Advantage insurance company that leans heavily on data analytics has detailed its hiring plans for a new Cool Springs office.
San Francisco-based Clover Health wants to grow a local team of 50 people and says Nashville will be the focus of its hiring efforts this year. In addition to its home base in San Francisco, the company runs a New Jersey office. A spokeswoman said executives chose Nashville to tap into the region’s deep health care talent pool and is looking for experts in claims processing, enrollment and payment integrity, among other things.
Clover has set up shop in the Cool Springs III building at 725 Cool Springs Blvd., just east of Carothers Parkway. That building also is home to MedManagement and Peak Health Solutions as well as Regus office suites location.
Clover announced its plans to set up a base in Nashville about six weeks ago as part of its response to the news that it planned to lay off about 140 of its more than 550 employees while beefing up its health insurance and health IT teams. The company early this year landed a big round of funding from a group of investment firms led by Greenoaks Capital.
