American Addiction Centers gets temporary NYSE reprieve

New York Stock Exchange officials have told AAC Holdings executives they have until next January to push the addiction treatment provider’s shares back above $1 and until November of next year to grow its market capitalization to more than $50 million.

Brentwood-based American Addiction Centers has been under scrutiny by the NYSE’s listing compliance team since this spring, after its shares had been clobbered by several quarters of poor results.

On Wednesday afternoon, its shares (Ticker: AAC) were changing hands at about 98 cents and its market value was about $25 million.
